Dr. Boyd Badiuk

MD, CFPC, FPA, MSc - Physician

Dr. Boyd Badiuk was born and raised in a small town in Northwestern Ontario.  He completed both his undergraduate degree in Kinesiology and master’s degree at the University of Waterloo.  His master’s thesis focused on assessing balance and mobility to reduce fall risk in older adults.  He studied medicine at the Northern Ontario School of Medicine where he first discovered his passion for anesthesia.  Upon graduation, he completed his family medicine residency at UBC and his family practice anesthesia residency at McMaster University.  In addition to chronic pain and interventional pain medicine, he is currently working as a locum anesthetist at Kootenay Lake Hospital.
