Interventional Treatments
We offer a full range of ultrasound and x-ray guided pain treatment procedures including:
- Spine injections (facet/medial branch; sacroiliac joint; epidurals)
- Â Radiofrequency ablations (rhizotomies or nerve burning procedures)
- Joint injections
- Botox injections
- Regenerative therapies (prolotherapy; PRP)
Treatments for which you may be required to pay additional costs
Most of the services provided at the clinic are covered by the provincial health program, however for some procedures you may be required to pay for medication or device related fees which allows the clinic to continue offering these services:
- Cortisone: if your injection requires cortisone you will be asked to return at a later date with a prescription or reimburse the clinic for your dose
- X-ray contrast dye: certain x-ray procedures require contrast dye (epidurals) and you will be advised of any related costs at the time of booking
- Radiofrequency related disposables: if you are scheduled for a radiofrequency ablation procedure, you will be asked to cover the cost of the non-reusable radiofrequency probes that are used
Non-insured services
The following services are not covered by the provincial health plan:
- Botox injections
- Prolotherapy
- PRP treatments
