Qi Gong and Mindful Movement with Hayley Alexander MPT and Dr. Noah Alexander

This class is for individuals living with persistent pain who want a gentle, supportive way to move and reconnect with their bodies. Rooted in Qi Gong, an ancient practice combining breath, slow movement, and mindfulness, this session promotes relaxation, body awareness, and ease of movement.

How This Class Helps Reduce Pain:

  • Calms the nervous system – Slow movements and breathwork shift the body from stress mode to relaxation, helping to reduce pain signals.

  • Encourages movement – Gentle, flowing exercises build confidence and reduce fear of movement.

  • Supports breath control – Techniques to relax muscles, lower stress, and ease pain.

  • Improves body awareness – Intentional movement helps retrain the brain’s movement maps, reducing pain sensitivity.

What to Expect:

✔ Adaptable, standing or seated movements
✔ Breathwork to reduce tension and regulate the nervous system
✔ Mindfulness practices to build confidence in movement
✔ A calm, welcoming environment

This class isn’t about pushing through pain but about moving with curiosity and self-care. If you’re looking for a way to feel more at home in your body, this session will provide tools to support you.
