Dr. Tara Kaman

B.Sc. (Kin), MD, FRCPC, CSCN (EMG), CIME - Physician

Dr. Kaman was born and raised in Vancouver, BC. She completed medical school at the University of British Columbia. She then moved to Alberta where she underwent training in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program at the University of Alberta. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and a diplomate of the Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists. She also holds a position of Clinical Lecturer in the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Alberta. 

She practiced in a multi-disciplinary pain clinic in Edmonton before moving back to BC and joining the Bill Nelems Pain & Research Centre. Her current clinical interests include ultrasound-guided interventions (for spine, peripheral joints, and soft tissues), regenerative medicine and electrodiagnostic medicine. Outside of medicine she has 2 young boys that keep her busy. She enjoys snowboarding, hiking, yoga, and photography.
