Dr. Marc Lourens

Dr. Lourens did his family practice and anaesthesia training at the University of Cape Town, South Africa before coming to Canada in 1998. After an interesting career in both family practice and anaesthesia, he decided to focus on chronic pain management. He has advanced training in ultrasound-guided interventional procedures and is also actively involved in helping to facilitate the clinic’s pain management and education groups. He has a particular interest in spinal procedures and regenerative medicine including PRP and prolotherapy. In his free time, you can find him mountain biking the trails or fly fishing in a mountain lake.
