Dr. Johan du Plessis

Dr. Johan du Plessis has a Bachelor’s Degrees in Medicine and Surgery, and a Master’s Degree in Family Medicine from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa.
He gained a fellowship from the College of Family Physicians of Canada. He holds a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Pain Management and Rehabilitation Medicine from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Advanced Interventional Pain Management from the Canadian Academy of Pain Management.
He practiced medicine in Canada since 1994. In 2014 he joined the Bill Nelems Pain & Research Centre.
His scope of practice includes family practice, emergency medicine and chronic pain management.
