Radiology Technician - Clinical Support Staff
Darlene is an X-ray technologist with many years experience in a variety of roles. She graduated in 1982 from the Medical Radiation Technologist program at Red River Community College & Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg.
Darlene’s vast work experience includes the following: Royal Columbian & Surrey Memorial Hospital, VGH (vascular ultrasound), William’s Lake Hospital, Peace Arch & Langley Memorial Hospital & 8.5 years at Kelowna Medical Imaging.
Darlene’s favourite work over the many years was the opportunity to work in Pain Management for 8 years with several doctors in Vancouver. She grew to love this work. Darlene was thrilled to join Bill Nelems Pain & Research Centre in September 2019. She is enjoying the challenges & rewards of her position at the clinic.
When not working Darlene enjoys family time, gardening, camping, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, baking and coaching soccer.
